Thanks for your interest in my work. I am happy to sell a print of any image on this website (or on my blog), subject to certain provisos which I should set out for the avoidance of doubt:

1. I am assuming this would be a private purchase. Please email me directly (chisholm.m.i@gmail.com) to express interest in a print purchase. If you are a gallery or other commercial concern, please email me to explain the nature of your interest.

2. My photographs are made with digital cameras, not film, and printed by me on an archival pigment-ink inkjet printer, not in a darkroom. This seems to bother some people. Same with the digital images, obviously.

3. A photograph printed on paper can never be as vivid as an image seen on an illuminated screen. Neither will the colours be exactly the same, due to the different way they are produced. Technically, it's the use of "RGB" (red, green, and blue) on a screen vs. "CYMK" (cyan, yellow, magenta, and black) on paper.

4. I sell prints from exhibitions from time to time, and to be fair to those buyers I try to keep the price of private sales roughly in line with those. That is:

Typically £100 for a print with image roughly A5 in size on on an A4 sheet; £150 for a print with image A4 in size on an A3 sheet; plus P&P of around £10. I prefer smaller prints like these, myself, but I could print larger (up to the optimum printable size for any particular image) if that was wanted. Obviously, these prices are low by comparison with more well-known or commercially-oriented photographers, but strike me as realistic. I’m happy to send work overseas. PayPal seems to work for most as a means of payment, but I’m open to suggestions.
